Hug it Forward

Hug It Forward (HIF) is a multicultural organization operating at the grassroots level in the region of Latin America, with an emphasis in Guatemala. They facilitate education and awareness around improved trash management methods via the construction of bottle classrooms. Mr. Green Africa

Founded in 2014, Mr. Green Africa (MGA) is built on the belief that business can be a powerful force for environmental, social, and economic transformation. MGA has developed a technology-driven, fully integrated plastics recycling platform that connects waste collection, processing, and high-quality production into one transparent value chain. At the front end, their model integrates informal waste workers, micro-entrepreneurs, and consumers into the formal economy, enabling predictable, fair, and transparent income through structured plastic collection at source. Beyond income, they actively support their collection partners through initiatives to provide them with food, sanitary products and PPE, and are working with partners to expand into healthcare and education initiatives.
